Franco represented the dynamic leadership that the World Federation needed at that time when there was fear of fragmentation and increasing politicization.

Franco united the entire Global Neurosurgery community, gave it a platform, and especially during COVID was masterful in bringing us all together. His dynamic leadership contributed to an esprit de corps that made the neurosurgical world flat.

Personally, he was a joy to work for and was always willing to help across the globe.

We are indebted to him and Constance for doing a great job for us, and we’ll always be grateful to him.
