Our first words are addressed to those who are working in remote areas in difficult conditions, also with the immense pressure of COVID-19 interfering in all modalities of neurosurgical care.

FOUNDATION MEDICAL SET

Dr. Mohamad Natheer Khasro is working in one of the battlefronts of the Iraq war, Mosul.

He received a Zeiss microscope as a WFNS Foundation donation, contributing to the fruitful neurosurgical career of Dr. Khasro.

THE YOUNG PIONEERS

WFNS Foundation has established a network of “Postgraduate Training Centers”, all with world-class neurosurgical excellence.

Apart from teaching, they provide support to young fellows from developing countries including food & accommodation.

THE VOICE OF

OPINION

Prof. Vladimir Benes is an internationally recognized leader of Neurosurgery. One of his most acclaimed contributions in education comes from his active co-chairmanship of the WFNS Neuroanatomy Committee.

MASTERS OF NEUROSURGERY

Dr. Keki Turel is not only a world-class neurosurgeon internationally recognized due to his vast experience in brain operations for top difficulty cases but also a wonderful person whose charm captivates everybody.
