Obituary: Prof. Michelangelo Gangemi

On September 19th, Prof. Michelangelo Gangemi, President of SINch, Italian Society of Neurosurgery, passed away after a cruel and tumultuous illness, faced with courage and great dignity.

Student of Prof. D'Andrea from the University Federico II of Naples, to whom he linked an indissoluble feeling of affection and gratitude, devoted himself first of all to infantile neurosurgery and, therefore, to brain and ventricular endoscopy, who saw him as pioneer and ambassador in Italy and abroad.

For his grace and dedication, Prof. Gangemi leaves a deep void in the Italian Neurosurgery.
